Update
iland engineers continue to reimport removed VPGs. We are working to get all VPGs reimported as soon as possible. If there are any issues with the imports, we are reaching out to customers individually.

iland engineers have completed re-enabling replication. We are currently assessing any VPGs in an error state and are beginning to remove and re-import any problem VPG. iland engineers will provide a list of VPGs for any customer affected via a support ticket.

iland engineers have corrected all the storage paths on the hosts and have started the next phase of the maintenance. We will continue to provide updates on progress as we work through the maintenance.

Update
iland engineers will be stopping the ZVM services in DAL22 as part of this maintenance. Some customers may see recovery errors with their VPGs, however replication is still occurring on the backend.

iland engineers in collaboration with our vendor engineering teams have identified a bug which has caused the storage paths to some datastores to default to a legacy SCSI reservation lockmode. iland engineers will be performing a host storage maintenance this Friday, 1/10/2020 at 09:00 am CT in order to resolve the storage performance and host management service issues that have been experienced by some customers as a result of this problem.

During this maintenance window, all Zerto replication will be stopped. While we realize halting replication for this maintenance is impactful this is the most effective and expeditious manner to regain stability in the environment given the nature of this bug.

iland engineers and support team will reach out to assist where there is any manual intervention required for VPGs as needed following the maintenance.
